Beyond the ordinary

“I’ll admit, when I first started thinking about this whole ‘spiritual awakening’ thing, I was skeptical. But underneath that skepticism were questions I’d quietly carried for a very long time. I didn’t know where to look for answers—or even who I could safely talk to about them. I was honestly afraid to bring some of these things up with close friends or family because I worried they might look at me differently, judge me, or just think I was crazy.

Then I found The Ami Healing Collective.

Something about the page immediately drew me in. It felt welcoming, intuitive, and genuinely inviting to explore. I initially thought I would browse for a few minutes, but I kept finding myself reading more.

Reading Ami’s Sacred Encounters especially opened an entirely new realm to me. There were experiences and ideas she shared that made me stop and think about things I had wondered about privately for years. It wasn’t presented as, ‘This is what you have to believe.’ Instead, it made me want to ask my own questions, look deeper, and discover what resonated with me personally.

That’s one of the things I appreciate most about The Ami Healing Collective. Ami doesn’t just share her own perspective; she provides resources that make it incredibly easy to continue researching for yourself. Instead of feeling completely overwhelmed by everything that’s out there, I finally felt like I had somewhere meaningful to begin. One subject would lead me to another, and suddenly I was exploring things I never would have known to search for on my own.

And when I did have questions, talking with Ami felt completely different from what I had feared.

She was compassionate, approachable, and genuinely receptive to everything I wanted to explore. I could finally ask the questions I had been almost afraid to say out loud. I never felt judged, dismissed, embarrassed, or like anything was being ‘dumbed down’ for me. She met me exactly where I was. Even when we were talking about something completely unfamiliar to me, I still felt like I was part of the conversation rather than someone being lectured or told what to believe.

I think that distinction is incredibly important.

What began as skepticism and curiosity has turned into a journey I genuinely didn’t expect. Between reading Ami’s Sacred Encounters, exploring the resources she has gathered, doing my own research, and finally having someone I could comfortably bring my questions to, something inside me has shifted.

I’m asking different questions now. I’m paying attention to myself differently. I’m more willing to explore the things I once brushed aside because I couldn’t explain them.

Most importantly, this journey has awakened a desire in me to become the highest, most authentic version of myself that I feel called to be.

I came to The Ami Healing Collective thinking I was simply looking for answers to a few questions I’d been too afraid to ask.

Instead, I found a doorway—and the encouragement and resources to discover for myself what might be on the other side.” -Katherine H.
